Professor Seyyed Ziaollah Haghi

Professor Seyyed Ziaollah Haghi is one of the most prominent medical figures in Iran, specializing in thoracic surgery and general surgery. With a fellowship in thoracic surgery from Canada and France, he is recognized as a pioneer in thoracic surgery in Iran. Professor Haghi serves as the head of the thoracic surgery department at Qaem Hospital and the director of the general surgery, cardiac surgery, and thoracic surgery department at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. Throughout his illustrious career, he has performed innovative surgeries such as thoracoscopic surgery and lung surgery with staplers in Mashhad. Professor Haghi is not only renowned in Iran but also internationally as a member of the French Thoracic Surgeons Association and the International College of Surgeons. He has provided valuable medical services by performing over four thousand surgeries for war victims. Professor Haghi has been recognized as a national exemplary physician and has received commendations from the former heads of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and the Iranian Medical Council, consistently striving to elevate the level of medicine in Iran.
